About the webmaster

Name: Dan
Year of birth: 2004
Nationality: Chilean
Pronouns: They / Them

I was born in a regular sized family in the capital of my country in 2004. I moved from Santiago in the summer of 2008. We live in the same house still.

Currently I'm finishing my Computer Science degree, my main income is art commissions and I don't have much else to myself. To be honest, I try my best to stay sane when my mental health is not really all that good, but I try to enjoy myself as much as possible!

About Platform 3 / Andén 3

El Andén 3 (or Platform 3 in english) is the place where you are right now, this simple little website of mine. In here you will find some of my creations, such as drawings or writings of mine, I also want to share some pictures/memories with you, people of the internet, who may be interested in sharing with a random on the internet such as me.

I started this site back in 2021, first name being BeolSpace, the name of one of my original characters. Later it was named Danppun for many years, until now, the name being Andén 3 for short... Short of what?

Some years ago I read a manga called 3番線のカンパネルラ / 3-ban sen no Campanella, beautiful BL that really touched my heart. While the english translation is While Being Seen Off by Campanella, a better adaptation of the title would be Campanella on Platform 3, so that's the short answer. I re-read this manga once in a while, it means a lot to me and has of the most touching panel sequence I've ever read in a manga, or at least, it feels like that to me. What it means to choose to live. That's my main reason to do anything in my life.

This manga read also made me read Night on the Galactic Railroad by Kenji Miyazawa, also a very life-changing read. Really recommended. I'm getting out of topic. Oh, well, this is my about page, that's the best I can summarize my choices being made here!
